When it comes time to vote, whether on Election Day or via absentee ballot, a ballot needs to be filled out. Ballots will list different candidates by voting location (precinct).
On some ballots, Matt Bostrom will appear first, and on others Matt Bostrom will appear second. Please be sure to read the choices next to the ovals.
To vote, completely fill in the oval(s) next to your choices, like so:

All voters must vote in their precinct. To find out where to vote, visit the Minnesota Secretary of State’s Poll Finder at http://pollfinder.sos.state.mn.us.

Not going to be in your precinct on Election Day? No problem, see Absentee Voting below.
Voter Registration
All voters must be registered in order to vote.

Not sure if you’re registered? You can check your voter registration online at: https://mnvotes.sos.state.mn.us/VoterStatus.aspx.

Not registered? You can register to vote at the polls on Election Day (November 2) or online at the Secretary of State’s website.
Absentee Voting

If you are going to be away from your precinct, don’t worry! You can vote today using an absentee ballot.

Request an absentee ballot from Ramsey County Elections (www.co.ramsey.mn.us/elections/absentee.htm). Applications are available online and include additional information by city.

You can also cast your absentee vote in-person at Ramsey County Elections (90 West Plato Boulevard, Saint Paul (Google Map)). The best way to ensure your absentee ballot counts is to vote in person.

Normal government office hours are Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm. Special extended hours will occur at Ramsey County Elections and at city offices on Saturday, October 30th (10:00 am to 3:00 pm) and Monday, November 1st (8:00 am to 5:00 pm).

All absentee ballots must arrive at Ramsey County Elections no later than 3:00 pm on Election Day (Tuesday November 2).
